Inside a 4-Day Life Coaching Retreat

So you know you want to grow, learn something new, and perhaps get unstuck in a couple of areas in your life. You feel that therapy isn't the route you want to take right now. You want support from someone who is legit and can give you tools and insights to make some changes. You book a discovery call with me and we feel like working together is a great fit.

You check my calendar and see the dates I'm available in person in Santa Cruz, California and the North Shore of Kauai. You feel like a big reset can happen in a beautiful place like Hawaii. I couldn't agree more. So now what? It’s time to book your life coaching retreat!

1. Reserve the Dates with me on my Calendar. Yes, Your COaching Intensive is happening!

2. Book the flight.

The airport on Kauai is Lihue (LIH). For those in the Bay Area, there are direct flights from San Jose (SJC), San Francisco (SFO) and Oakland (OAK).

3. Rent the car.

While we'll be working together, there will be plenty of time to get in the ocean or take an amazing hike in nature. A car is a necessity to get around and find all the great places. There is a quick shuttle to all the well known car rental places. Clients have also reported they like using Turo, a car sharing company. The airport is about an hour from Princeville and an hour and 10 minutes from Hanalei.

(FUN STEP: Stop on your way to the North Shore at Kauai Juice in Kapaa. They have fresh pressed juice that will perk you up with great nutrients. If you want to get a health reboot, they have a juice plan to help you detox, reset gut health and reduce inflammation.)

4. Rent the place you want to rest your head at night.

Princeville has so many options of great places to stay, houses or condos, oceanfront, mountain views, or on the golf course. Be careful, you'll likely get here and want to stay longer. Princeville and Hanalei both have lots of shops, a grocery store, and some great restaurants.

(FUN STEP: Map out how far you are from the Hanalei Pier. Hanalei Bay is one of the best beaches in the world! You'll want to start your mornings there with a long spacious beach walk. End your days with a sunset viewing at the lookout next to Pua Poa condos on Ka Haku Road. People gather to watch the sunset so make some new friends. Stroll down to The One for a cup of coffee, cocktail or meal overlooking Hanalei Bay. It will take your breath away! Reservations needed for meals.)

5. I'll come to you for our first Coaching Retreat session!

We usually begin the first day you arrive. I support my clients on landing their nervous system and getting present. We'll do some light mapping of our time together and the various emotional, mental, physical and spiritual territory we want to cover. Once we sit together in person, I get a clear sense of the map that will be the most supportive.

6. Enjoy the ride!

Our days will be either a morning and late afternoon session or one big block of time. We do this to give you time for nature and fun breaks. I also create space for my clients to nap, journal, and reflect. Pacing is important and we'll adjust accordingly to take care of your emotional and physical body. Some sessions will be talking, some will be energy medicine. I'll bring in nature and intuitive work as it makes sense in our journey.

For clients that want to work with the medicine Ketamine in their coaching sessions, we will meet early morning on the medicine assisted coaching days. Our time will be bigger blocks of time together on those days. For non medicine days, we'll resume morning and late afternoon sessions.

7. For the last day, we'll meet after breakfast for your send off session.

Fair warning, you won't want to leave and you'll be already planning your next visit. You'll have some action steps in place and we'll follow up a couple days after getting home to check in on your integration.

(FUN STEP: For clients that want to stay connected or have another touchstone to continue deepening their expansion, check out group retreat dates in the Santa Cruz mountains or North Shore of Kauai. You can also create a small group 4 day intensive personalized retreat with some of your friends and family. Any which way, group sessions are exponential healing spaces that inspire the best out of us. Our progress is magnified when we are in community, learning, growing, and thriving together.)

So after all that, you'll look back and think to yourself, "wow what an epic journey that was".

I can't wait to see you and co-create your next greatest unfolding yet!
