Ketamine Isn’t the Medicine. You Are.

The “medicine” in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy is often thought to be ketamine.

The risk of that approach is thinking growth and change come from a drug and therefore, needing that drug to keep getting relief.

Instead, it’s helpful to think of a KAP journey like taking an elevator ride to the top floor or a plane ride above the clouds.

From that vantage point, a person can get the big picture of who they are and what is possible.

It creates an impactful emotional, physical and spiritual memory of the existential big picture that is not easily forgottten.

To now know what is possible can become the new North Star.

This star helps a person navigate to determine what works and what doesn’t in a persons life and what changes need to take place.

With the combination of psychotherapy and ketamine, we support clients to create lasting change in their life.

We do this by supporting our clients ro build the steps to the North Star. They no longer need the elevator to access these peak trancedent states or the drug to create relief and change.

With psychotherapy, they create the steps to creating and living a more clear, calm, courageous, creative, connected life.

Once people know where they are going and how it feels when they are on and off the path, it’s easier to make change.

The steps to the big picture look like emotional, relational, spiritual and behavioral changes that allow the client to feel continuously connected with the big picture of life, without using the elevator.

We support our clients to become their medicine.

The ketamine offers the big picture and the therapy helps them navigate with a North Star to change their life.

There is no magical pill or panacea that will make your life amazing.

But there are tools and support to help you thrive.
